An off week

I did virtually no shopping last week...I bought some .70 Electrosol! And that's about it. More to come this week though, since I have a whole lot of nothing in the kitchen.

Last week's deals 1/25 - 1/31

Didn't do a whole lot shopping last week, just a trip to CVS for detergent and trying to build up my ECB stash. I think I'm getting the hang of it.

I get paid to Google, and you can too!

SwagBucks is a search application that rewards you periodically for searching. Their results are provided by Google and ask.com, so you aren't sacrificing search quality for rewards. Once you bank up just 45 SwagBucks, you can redeem them for a $5 Amazon.com gift card. You can also hoard your Bucks and trade for a iPhone or something, but I feel like it would be easier to just amass Amazon cash.

For a little perspective, I've been searching for about a week and I have 35...it's not a bad deal!

Occasionally SwagBucks releases promotional codes to earn you extra bucks. This week's is BeMine (it's case sensitive). Punch it in and earn your bonus. The real way to accumulate SwagBucks fast is to get your friends to sign up. As a referral, you earn when they earn, up to 100 Bucks. It's a nice way to be rewarded for promoting the site.

Sign up for SwagBucks and start getting paid today. I can't wait for all my free stuff from Amazon.

I love Red Box!

Red Box (in case you were unaware) is a movie rental kiosk located in several different stores, most notably Walgreens in the central Ohio area. They charge $1/per DVD/per night. Every Monday they text free one-night rental codes. Tonight's is: 57VH9L

Happy Red Box-ing!

Allow me to introduce myself...

Hello and welcome to my newfound internet space! I'm Mallory, I'm 21, and I'm trying to put myself through graduate school. I'm a pretty indenpendent, driven person (hence the graduate degree by 23 with no loans plan) and I'm going to use this blog to document my journey.

I love getting good deals and I'm working really hard to stretch my money as far as I can. A graduate degree isn't cheap. Neither is embracing your independence at 21 in a slumping economy. However, both can be done and I aim to show everyone how.
